Second grade is the year when students use their literacy skills to learn, comprehend and interpret concepts and information. There are opportunities to learn through hands-on math and ELA centers. It is especially interesting in the spring when the life cycle unit brings creepy crawlers and amazing transformations to the second grade classrooms.
