Third Grade
Eddie Grassi, Room 12
Erin Conner, Room 3
Third grade students study a variety of writing genres throughout the year, include memoir, narrative and nonfiction. They become skilled readers who critically analyze and interpret text. They are making connections between what they read and life experiences or other texts.
In mathematics they master multiplication facts and use all their number sense skills in higher order applications. There is a focus on problem solving, multiple step problems and interpreting data. They become independent thinkers and learners.
