Registration Information
Registration for the 2012 - 2013 school year will take place from January 17, 2012 to February 17, 2012 at Green Hills School.
The Millbrae School Districts has four elementary schools and one Middle School. We make every attempt to enroll children at their neighborhood school. Enrollment is based on space availablility which changes throughout the year. Our class size average is 28:1 in Kindergarten - fifth grade.
If you are enrolling a student during the school year, please come to the office to pick up a packet. Enrollment can be completed from 9:00 a.m. - 12:00 a.m. and 1:00 p.m. - 3:00 p.m while school is in session.The following items are required: proof of residency (lease or propety tax bill and PG&E bill), shot records, birth certificate and enrollment packet. During the school year, placement is made based on space availability. Students should be registered at their school of residence.
Kindergarten Registration - Children must turn five on or before November 1, 2012 in order to begin Kindergarten in August, 2012. There will be more information coming soon about "Transitional Kindergarten" for students who do not make the November 1 cutoff date and have a birthday between November 2 and December 2, 2012. Please fill out a registration packet for Kindergarten and Transitional Kindergarten during our registrartion window at Green Hills School. In order to be registered, all required documentation must be returned.
If you would like to request a transfer into the Millbrae School District, please start by filling out the IDA (Inter-District Transfer ) paperwork with your home school district. There is a transfer request form that is completed for the Millbrae School District. This form is available in February and should be returned to the district office, 555 Richmond Drive, Millbrae. Once the transfer has been approved, Millbrae School District will notify you of the status of your child's transfer. All IDA transfers are subject to space availability and placement may change in order to accommodate a resident at any time.
